For my video project, I chose to create an advertisement for the "All Trails" hiking app, highlighting its features. My preference naturally fell on the field of sport due to my deep interest in physical activity. I sought to capture the essence of the hiking experience, showcasing the scenic routes, intuitive app interaction, and practical benefits. For this project. I enlisted the help of two classmates, an actor, and a sound recording assistant.

Shoot the video once the production file is ready

The first stage of the project was to draw up the production file, a central document listing all the elements required to produce the advertising video for the "All Trails" application. This file served as a detailed guide, bringing together the script, cutting, location and other essential elements to ensure efficient project management.
With the production file as a reference, the filming phase began. The team mobilized in the field, capturing images to vividly illustrate the functionalities and spirit of the application. The location was Boudry in the canton of Neuchâtel, in the Gorges de l'Areuse. A week before the shoot, I visited the location to get my bearings and make it easier to work on the day of the shoot.
In the post-production stage, I started by derushing my shots. Then I selected the music I wanted for the video, as well as other sounds I'd recorded during the shoot. I edited the video in Adobe PremièrePro, where I also worked on colorimetry. I also mixed the video's sound in Audition, to get a pleasant sound that matched the video well. To highlight the application's features, I decided to add text and other animated elements to describe them. I used After Effects for this part of the work, which was crucial to achieving a professional advertising video.
